betr_horizontaltagDear Staff/Artists and Affiliates:

NSAA is proud to be partnering with better Better Earth together we are working to reuse, re-purpose and recycle unwanted textiles. We are now accepting gently used clothing and shoes and are making them available to people in need around the world. Textiles that are too worn to be used as clothing are re-purposed into wiping rags or fibers that are then re-manufactured into paper, yarn, insulation, carpet padding, sound-proofing and more.  To begin, we have place a collection box in the lobby at NSAA.  In the fall we plan on hosting a drive as well.  In addition when you donate, a portion of the proceeds will go back to support NSAA programming.  Please consider bringing your items to NSAA.

WHAT WE TAKE:
BETTER collects gently used clothing and shoes for men, women, children and infants. All items should be clean and in relatively good condition. Desired items include:
• Shirts, blouses, t-shirts and other tops
• Skirts, pants, jeans and shorts
• Dresses and suits
While we are looking for wearable clothing, we will accept items with small tears, or that are lightly
stained. BETR also accepts clean household items such as sheets, blankets, comforters, towels, curtains
and tablecloths.

THANK YOU FOR SUPPORTING THE EARTH AND THE ARTS!
