Imaginary Creatures
Target Age: 8-12
Use your imagination to create your own creatures in clay. Then we will design & build a habitat for your new species using mixed media materials!

Partners in Art
Target age: 3-5 years old (with caregiver)
Enjoy creating art work with a special little one. Partners will get their hands in all types of creating such as ceramics and painting.

Mini Masters
Target age: 3-5 years old
Children will learn about a di erent artist each week and then create their own pint-sized masterpiece. From Van Gogh to Jackson Pollock, we will explore a wide range of styles and materials.              Instructors: Kelly Garcia

Painting through the Masters for Teens
Target age: 13 years +
Students will explore various styles of painting from pointillism, impressionism, abstract expressionism, and much more. Master studies will be done of famous paintings. Painting technique, composition, content and color theory will be emphasized. All levels welcome. Instructor: Paula DeStefanis

Super Saurus
Target Age: 8-12
Come create a bigger-than-you dinosaur! We will use paint and texture to create a 2D imaginary reptile. Make it scary or make it silly, but just make it BIG!

Express yourself! Come learn the art of the self-portrait using a variety of 2D media & techniques. Famous artists Modigliani & Picasso will be our inspiration.

Draw Me a Story–Literary and Visual Arts
Target age: 3-6 years old
Designed for the young book-lovers and artists alike, we will begin each class with a children’s story, and then create our own artwork based on characters, settings and events of the story. We will use pencils, paints, pastels and more to bring our favorite stories to life!

NSAA JR. STAGEKIDS and the “The Lion King Experience”
Target Ages: Ages 6 to 12
“The Lion King Experience” is a series of lesson plans created by Disney Theatrical Group (which is the musical production arm of The Walt Disney Company). This high quality curriculum introduces young actors to a wide range of theatrical skills through the lens of the show, Disney’s The Lion King Jr. The program is designed to engage young actors through key concepts of theater centered around state and national arts standards. Students will work in small groups to rehearse various scenes from the show and be given lines to memorize at home. They will have teacher-facilitated group activities, fun drama games and large musical numbers with choreography to learn.
Rehearsals: Mondays 4:30 to 5:30 September 11th through November 20th
Mandatory Dress Rehearsal: Monday November 27th from 4 to 6 pm
Mandatory Performance: Monday December 4th at 5:00 at NSAA
Additional Performances: EXCITING OPPORTUNITY to experience professional
theater venue fun! Our Jr. Stagekids will join the Stagekids cast on the Cedarburg Performing Arts Center stage Friday January 12th and Saturday January 13th (2018) as vocalists in a few of the larger numbers. There will be a total of ve performances that weekend including school matinees! (And yes, our Jr. Stagekids will be given an excused absence for the January 12th daytime matinees!) There will be “tech week” rehearsals to attend beginning the week of January 7th. Times and dates TBD.

Zumba!
Target Age: Teen/Adult
Zumba is the latin inspired tness phenomenon! Zumba fuses Latin rhythms and easy to follow moves into a dynamic workout. Zumba is a total body workout with toning exercises and fat-burning moves for a workout that’s more fun than it is work.
