NSAA serves all ages in the visual, literary and performing arts. In just the Visual Arts Department, NSAA will offer the following:

North Shore Academy of the Arts is proud to announce its 2013 production of the the Little Mermaid.
In a magical kingdom fathoms below, the beautiful young mermaid Ariel longs to leave her ocean home to live in the world above. But first, she’ll have to defy her father King Triton, make a deal with the evil sea witch Ursula, and convince Prince Eric that she’s the girl with the enchanting voice.

The target age group for the Little Mermaid are grades 2nd through 9th. Those wanting to register should bring their checkbooks to the Cedarburg Performing Arts Center during one of the Seussical Shows. Show times are Friday March 30 at 7:00pm, Saturday March 31 at 1:00pm and 7:00pm and Sunday April 1 at 1:00pm. Tickets to see the show are $3 for children and $7 for adults. Tickets can be purchased through the Cedarburg Performing Arts Center Ticket Box Office. Please call 262.376.6161 to reserve tickets.
The NSAA Stagekids program is a part of the spiraling performing arts department programs offered at NSAA. For more information on visual, literary and performing arts classes offered at NSAA visit www.northshoreacademyofthearts.org or call 262.377.3514. Spring classes for all ages will begin April 30. Early registration discounts will be given through March 1. NSAA also has a “sister site” The Arts Mill located at 1300 14th Ave. in Grafton. Visit www.theartsmill.org

Visual arts teacher, Mrs. Kari Slater, is incredibly enthusiastic about art (obviously), teaching and being around children. She has this perpetual excitement when she teaches. Her classroom is full of energy as well as a passion for creativity. SHE LOVES WHAT SHE DOES and the children just love her!
Her ART SAMPLER classes are extremely popular. She has a lot of “repeat customers”. It is a continually evolving fine arts curriculum providing a personal and focused opportunity for young artists. Ages 6 and up are welcome.
The next WINTER ART SAMPLER begins on Mondays beginning 1/10 from 4:15 to 5:15. It’s the perfect after school activity!
