Lead characters include ten year old Sydney Crivello who plays the lead “Aurora/Briar Rose” Sleeping Beauty.  The evil sorceress, Maleficent, played by eight year old Dalin Kirn puts a curse on Sleeping Beauty that she will prick her finger and die on her sixteenth birthday.  However, lead fairy “Merryweather” played by nine year old Elizabeth Schmid casts a spell that will simply make her fall asleep only to be awoken by her true love’s kiss.  Six year old Xavier Robar, “Prince Philip” comes to the rescue and kisses her out of her sleep.  However, this is the beginning of a big duel between Maleficent’s “Goons” and “Merryweather’s” fairies.
