Saukville, WI – June 1, 2011 - Fore! North Shore Academy of the Arts first annual Golf Classic, held on May 12, was a great success. Forty four golfers enjoyed beautiful spring weather while playing an 18-hole scramble at The Bog in Saukville.
The team of Ryan Deneen, Rick Allen, Mike Lynch and Sean Cooley won the grand prize with the best team score. The longest drive was hit by Nick Curran and the closest to the pin winner was Ryan Deneen. After 6 rounds in the putting contest, the competitors, Don Welch, Nick Curran, Darrin Englebert and John Norfolk, donated the cash prize back to NSAA.
Thanks to the players and sponsors including Olsen’s Piggly Wiggly, Koehler Insurance, and Innovative Storage Designs, more than $11,000 was raised to support NSAA’s programming.
